Description of Research:
My lab is working on understanding the effect of chemotherapy drugs on the nerve system, including peripheral nerves, neuromuscular junctions in the guts, etc. We use animal models and apply imaging, behavioral, electrophysiological, and other assays to study the mechanism of conditions such as CIPN and chemotherapy induced cachexia.
