Predicting patient response to anti-arrhythmic therapy We are using cutting-edge imaging of ion channels to inform computational models that allow us to predict whether patients will respond to anti-arrhythmic therapy.  By understanding why some patients respond and others don’t, we expect to be able to guide therapy better and gain insight to improve current approaches.

Holographic approaches to improving surgical outcomes Patients, physicians and nurses are all asked to understand complex anatomies from two dimensional representations.  This non-intuitive display causes errors in the operating room and confusion for patients as to what their procedure entails.  We are providing a hologram of different anatomies to surgeons and patients to overcome these barriers.
