Our laboratory investigates the interactions between stress neurobiology and GPCRs in neural circuits.  My lab’s current projects include exploring the role of neuropeptide neural circuits in stress-induced behaviors, developing novel optogenetic tools and engineering approaches, and my laboratory is actively pursuing projects related to dissecting circuits, signaling, and the neurophysiological mechanisms underlying depression, anxiety, pain and reinstatement of drug seeking.
